Scientific research faced with emerging development challenges in Africa The Africa continent is lagging behind when it comes to matters such as economics, social matters and adverse environmental indicators with multiple local conflicts, bad governance and marginalized globalization. Africa is a continent rich in resources and opportunities. To ensure the development and globalization of the Africa continent many challenges still lies ahead. This challenges including improving youths living conditions( population with a very strong growth), providing food, water, health, strong control, improving governance and overcoming political instability, progressing towards regional integration, encouraging local development initiatives, improving access to financial services, promoting development of transport infrastructures, taking seriously the consequences of climate change and promoting sustainable development, promoting ICT development, etc. The 5th Symposium on Science, Culture and Technology at the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) is an opportunity for researchers to present and discuss results of their research concerning these issues confronting Africa’s development.
The 5th Symposium on Science, Culture and Technology at the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) with the topic on “Scientific research faced with emerging development challenges in Africa” is organized to raise issues such as:
- Plenary lectures and debate
- Technology Exhibitions
- Scientific papers workshops
- Poster Competition (with 3 prizes to win) :
Guidelines and conditions for participation
Because of the importance attached to research, its role is to bring forth beneficial and useful outcome. The scientific committee and organization intends to strengthen the exchange dimension of scientific research results between researchers from all backgrounds through the creation of a new presentation platform that will include all relevant information.
